Federal Reserve ~ Financial Slave Master

According to sekhmet says, the Federal Reserve Bank "is not Federal at all" ~ taxpayers have been duped to support "a group of very rich families and privately owned Banks" of which several privately owned banks are international, France, Germany, Italy, ...

Sekhmet belives the Federal Reserve Bank enslaves taxpayers' funds; however, based on recent recent failures of banking institutions and bailouts in the United States and abroad; the Federal Reserve appears to have ponzied international leaders as well as wealthy families outside of the "group" to revived their wealth that diminised due to Bush Flags.

The Bush admin took advantage of both the American tax payer and the Federal Reserve via Halliburton.

Barack Obama's team says Tim Geither, left, "quickly addressed" the mistakes he made. "The President-elect chose Tim Geithner to be his treasury secretary because he's the right person to help lead our economic recovery during these challenging times," Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs said in a statement. "He's dedicated his career to our country and served with honor, intelligence and distinction. That service should not be tarnished by honest mistakes, which, upon learning of them, he quickly addressed." Members of the Senate Finance Committee met with Geithner on Tuesday over concerns about his personal taxes and the immigration status of a former worker, transition officials said. According to a statement by the committee, Geithner failed to pay self-employment taxes for money he received while he working for the International Monetary Fund from 2001-2004. In 2006, the Internal Revenue Service audited Geithner for tax years 2003 and 2004, and he paid $16,732 for the taxes and interest for those years, the statement said. After Obama nominated him for treasury secretary, Geithner voluntarily amended his taxes for 2001 and 2002, paying $25,970 for those taxes and interest, the committee said. According to the Obama team, transition officials discovered the problem on November 21 and notified the Finance Committee soon afterward. The committee's release said members learned of the problem December 5. Don't Miss Analysis: How long does Obama have to fix economy? Obama threatens dissenting Democrats with first veto As an international organization, the IMF does not withhold money from employees' paychecks for Social Security and Medicare. U.S. employees are required to pay them on their own. Gibbs, the incoming White House spokesman, called Geithner's tax issue a "common mistake." On the second issue, Geithner and his wife employed a housekeeper whose employment authorization document expired about three months before she stopped working for them in October 2005, according to a statement from the Finance Committee. The housekeeper, who is married to a U.S. citizen, later was granted a green card, transition officials said. Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Montana, said that, in his judgment, the errors were "honest mistakes" that "do not rise to the level of disqualification." For now, Geithner's nomination hearing is scheduled for January 21, a Democratic Finance Committee source said. Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Arizona, raised an objection to holding the hearing Friday, forcing a delay until next week, a spokesman for Kyl said. The committee said it would continue to review Geithner's tax returns and other information ahead of the hearing. Meanwhile, Obama on Tuesday warned members of his party he would veto any attempt to block his access to the remaining $350 billion in an emergency bailout fund. The president-elect said that he wouldn't want to do this to fellow Democrats, but he feels like he has no choice. Obama versus his own party -- how did we get here? Some Democrats and Republicans have voiced concerns that the first half of the bailout has been mismanaged and that there hasn't been enough accounting for where the money went. Watch as Obama warns Democrats » "It's not enough to just have someone you trust. We have to have specific criteria as to what will be happening," said Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan. "Will there be accountability or transparency? We can't even get answers." Democratic senators said they think Obama will handle the funds better than the Bush team did, but that assurance is not enough on this issue. Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri, one of Obama's earliest and biggest supporters, said even he "can't just say trust me." U.S. Rep. Barney Frank, D-Massachusetts, has put forth what he describes as his "trust but verify" bill that would place tighter restrictions on how the Obama administration can spend the remaining bailout funds. The bill also would designate part of the funds for foreclosure relief. A vote on the bill is expected Wednesday. Confirmation hearings for Obama's Cabinet members also are taking place Wednesday on Capitol Hill. An announcement went out Tuesday night that the hearing for former Rep. Ray LaHood, Obama's pick for transportation secretary, has been delayed. A Senate aide said the LaHood postponement is not related to the Geithner situation or a Washington Post article on Wednesday that reported on LaHood's sponsor of transportation earmarks that benefited campaign donors. The aide insisted it's because LaHood's paperwork isn't done yet. LaHood was a seven-term Republican congressman from Peoria, Illinois. The confirmation hearings scheduled for Wednesday include those for former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack for agriculture secretary, Lisa Jackson for Environmental Protection Agency administrator, Nancy Sutley for chairman of the Council on Environmental Quality, retired Gen. Eric Shinseki for veterans affairs secretary, Peter Orszag as director of the Office of Management and Budget, and Robert Nabors II as deputy OMB director. Sen. Hillary Clinton on Tuesday completed her testimony for her nomination as secretary of the state. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee is expected to vote on her nomination Thursday. Mark Felt (Deep Throat) Surmised at Home

William Mark Felt, Sr (August 17, 1913 - December 18, 2008)

"FBI agents have established that the Watergate bugging incident stemmed from a massive campaign of political spying and sabotage conducted on behalf of President Nixon's reelection and directed by officials of the White House and the Committee for the Re-election of the President," The Washington Post reported.

Mark Felt was the associate director of the FBI, and he guided the reporters, all along insisting that Watergate was not an isolated incident but part of a wider conspiracy designed to destroy Democratic presidential candidates who might run against Nixon.

Bush Duck ~ Incoming Shoe from Media

President Bush on Sunday made a valedictory visit to Iraq, the country that will largely define his legacy, but the trip will more likely be remembered for the unscripted moment when an Iraqi journalist hurled his shoes at Bush's head and denounced him on live television as a "dog" who had delivered death and sorrow here from nearly six years ...

Arab-American Relations

This is an excerpt from a blog post dated March 31, 2005.

"How to Khouri favour: Rami Khouri, a Palestinian Jordanian journalist who lives in the U.S., regales us every so often with his reflections on American relations with the Arab world. Generally speaking, his opinion amounts to this: America should lay off and let the Arabs do whatever the heck they want because, man, the U.S. is really pissing them off."

On November 28, 2008 the following excerpt is from a submission on Rami Khouri's web site.

"In the Arab world, some of the excitement generated by Barack Obama’s election victory has now worn off. The appointment of Rahm Emanuel as White House chief of staff and the likely appointment of Hilary Clinton as Secretary of State -- both known for their pro-Israeli leanings -- has served to dampen expectations of a radical change of policy.Nevertheless, there is a sense that some change is unavoidable and must come. In Washington, the neo-conservatives, who had shaped President George W. Bush’s Middle East policies, are out of power and on the defensive. The new team will have much to do clearing up the wreckage ciaused by these ideologues, and restoring America’s battered authority and reputation. "
